T.J. Criscione, P.Eng.
Project Manager/Technical Lead/Principal
T.J. enjoys using his extensive technical experience from over 15 years in the Construction and Engineering Consulting industries to deliver the most effective solutions to clients. He strongly believes in understanding his clients’ objectives and fostering communication between all parties in the project team to produce a win/win result on every project.
T.J. has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He worked as a Technical Staff for Sernas Associates, a land development engineering consultant in Whitby, Ontario (2002-2005) and as a Construction Engineer for DBD Structures, a General Contractor in San Francisco, California (1999-2001) prior to joining Halsall Associates in 2005. He remained at Halsall until June of 2014 prior to becoming a founding partner of T.J. Allen Partners Inc.
At Halsall, T.J. spent extensive time in the field developing his technical and problem solving skills while also being a trusted subject matter expert on roofing and garage restoration projects. In 2012, T.J. took on the Project Manager and Technical Lead roles to further leverage his abilities by taking responsibility for project delivery from both a management and technical perspective.
During his time at Halsall, T.J. also spent 5 years developing and managing the Testing and Instrumentation Practice Team before taking on the role of Roofing Practice Team Manager in 2012. T.J. also chaired Halsall’s Restoration Group monthly technical sessions and took the initiative to develop regular training sessions for junior site staff.
T.J. is also a past board member and Education Director of the Ontario Chapter of the Roof Consultants Institute (RCI).
